This
4-hour instructor-led course is taught by First American Escrow instructors
and is
designed to help real estate agents understand escrow agent duties,
the escrow instructions, services performed by the escrow agents, and factors
to consider in selecting an escrow agent. We
will learn the differences between an escrow agent, escrow officer and a limited practice officer (LPO). We will discuss
the HUD-1 settlement statement, discover common escrow issues that could
delay closing and develop an awareness of online transaction management platforms
and the relationship to the escrow process.
