comes knocking at the
door!
This 3
hour class will give
students valuable
knowledge that will
enable them to spot
mortgage fraud.
We will learn about the
3 categories of mortgage
fraud, and some common
and not-so-common
mortgage fraud schemes –
including what they look
like, who is involved,
and how to stay away
from
them.
Students will also learn about the efforts of various agencies – FBI, IRS, HUD, etc; to crack down on and punish the people involved in these schemes.
Finally, we will learn about some recent Washington State cases of mortgage fraud – The type of fraud, who was involved, how it was done, and the punishment the fraudsters received.
